Step 1 - Choose your base


It's easy! You're about to do this in 3 easy steps
    • In Step 1: Identify the base you'd like to start with - you can use your skin type as a guide
    • In Step 2: Choose ingredients that work well together to focus on a particular concern you have for yourself
    • In Step 3: Choose a booster pack with essential oils to add some extra punch to your very own blend!

Let's start: You will begin to build your product on a base cream or lotion. A base is like a canvas mounted on an easel, awaiting your artistic touch.
The oils in the base will drive the primary texture of your cream or lotion.

Choose your skin type or the base that you most associate with below:

Dry & Dehydrated

Your skin feels papery or tight after a shower and before you apply any moisturizer.
  • Avocado oil
  • Apricot kernel oil
This is a rich, moisturizing base.These carrier oils are rich and nourishing, high in essential fatty acids to provide an intensely moisturizing experience. This base is rich and is not recommended for people with oily skin or blemish prone skin. 

Oily or Combination

Your forehead nose and chin area are shiny when you wake up in the mornings or at the end of the day.
  • Rice Bran oil
  • Jojoba oil
This is a balancing base. These carrier oils are very light, fast absorbent with a high percentage of anti-oxidants. 

Sensitive or Reactive

You break out easily or tend to have skin allergies. Your may also react to chemicals that appear in most commercial products. At times your skin is splotchy.
  • Sunflower seed oil
  • Jojoba oil
  • Calendula oil
This is a very light, gentle base. These carrier oils are anti-inflammatory, calming and soothing to skin. They penetrate quickly and heal damaged skin. 

Mature skin

You’re noticing fine lines and wrinkles. The wrinkles are more pronounced when your skin dry.
  • Almond oil
  • Jojoba oil
This is a nourishing base. These carrier oils are highly emollient and contain high levels of vitamins A, B and E as well as essential fatty acids strengthen skin structure. This base is rich and is not recommended for people with oily skin or blemish prone skin.


You consider your skin to be normal because it has no reactions. It is not oily in places, nor does it feel particularly dry. You can generally wear anything without much of a reaction.
